Society for Special Persons (SSP) Multan (Southern Punjab, Pakistan) on 8 November 2009 launched inauguration ceremony of vocational skill center of, by and for the persons with disabilities at the office. The chief guest were Syed Sabir Hussain Gardasi (Regional program Manager Job project Usaid/Pakistan Care International), Members of Lions Club , Members of Kashaf Foundation,Members of Farmer Development Organization, Members of Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) Members of Plan International, Members of Pakistan Human Development Foundation (PHDF), Members of Care International and a large number of People with Disabilities and their families participated in the event.

Zahida Qureshi (Women with Disability), President, Society for Special Persons Multan presented key-note speech. She told about the history, activities and future plans of organizations. She also told in detail about the purpose of Vocational Training Center. Other guests also expressed their views about young and growing self help organization of people with disabilities in the Multan. They assured their full cooperation for organizations of Person with Disabilities of Southern Punjab, especially in Multan. Chief Guest said that Multan is the city of Prime Minister of Pakistan, he is also taking interest for People with Disabilities' issues. He said People with Disabilities should be mainstreamed in National mainstream organizations and these type of vocational training centers will develop skills among people with disabilities in this way they will get jobs
