News on the 3rd Meeting of DPI Korea
DPI Korea hold its general meeting under the subject of "Oppressive System and Persons with Disabilities" from December 2 to 3 at E-room Center in Yeoido, Seoul. About 300 members of numerous DPOs participated in this meeting. The general meeting consisted of an all hands meeting and 6 conferences on following thema; mobility rights, independent living, income security, prohibition on disability discrimination and recovery of rights, disability employment and UN CRPD. Also, following side events were held; Workshop on the New Asian and Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons, Universal Design Exhibition, Award for Disability Welfare 2010, Debate Forum on the Fact-finding Survey on Independent Living Institutions.
