Job Opportunity: Inclusion Program Associate
IFES is an international, nonprofit organization that supports the building of democratic societies. IFES provides targeted technical assistance to strengthen transitional democracies. IFES works to promote the equal rights and political participation of persons with disabilities around the world.
Position Summary: The Program Associate is the entry level position to program work at IFES. As a junior member of the team the Inclusion Program Associate will provide administrative and programmatic support for current and developing disability inclusion programs worldwide.
The Inclusion Program Associate will work closely with the Inclusion Program Officer on new initiatives that will require outreach to global disability and elections experts and IFES field staff. The Associate will contribute to development and maintenance of IFESโ sister website, ElectionAccess.org and will be involved in programmatic and administrative aspects of IFESโ Election Access Working Group. The Associate will also work with the Southeast Asia Program Officer to manage the General Election Network for Disability Access project.
