REPORT: Beyond doubt: the experiences of people with disabilities reporting crime

This report from the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission, clearly shows that people with disabilities in Victoria are routinely denied justice because police and other sections of the justice system are ill equipped to meet their needs. The report looks in detail at the barriers people with disabilities face in seeking justice as victims of crime. It shows that the experience of crime is particularly acute for women with disabilities and people with cognitive impairments.
