3 December - celebrate International Day of People with Disability - marking an important opportunity for organisations and individuals to promote an understanding of people with disability, and encourage support for their dignity, rights and well-being. This year, ADDC has been working with CBM Australia to debunk some of the everyday attitudinal barriers that many people with disability face in developing countries. In support of this theme there will be a number of resources available for you to use:

- short (3 minute) video debunking some of the attitudinal myths

- suggested tweets, facebook posts with corresponding pictures and quotes from the video

- a blog template for case studies

- a template media release

Please contact Rachel Wallbridge at rwallbridge@cbm.org.au or 03 8843 4578 if you are interested in using these resources.

In Australia, you can also register your event with the Department of Social Services which provides resources to promote the day - http://www.idpwd.com.au/3-december/ . In the past members have held morning teas in their workplace, promoted disability inclusive development to their members/supporters in newsletters and via social media and held community events.

We are always looking for content for the ADDC bulletin, please email info@addc.org.au with any news items for our December edition!
