We are all stanned with news on Kalle Konkkola’s passing.
Kalle, great leader of disability movement and ventilator user with the most severe disability, led the movement in Finland with outstanding leadership for realization of the rights of persons with disabilities and personal assistance service system. He also served as the chair of DPI World and advocated our equal rights by conveying the authentic voice of justice from global disability movement. He also committed realization of UNCRPD and torched the light of hope for all the persons with disabilities in the world.
Losing him is so huge to us. I extend my deep condolences to his family and friends with my sincere respect to his warm personality, leadership, and achievements.
