Training workshops on new media, ICT, and wireless technologies for social change
Mekong ICT Camp is a biannual training workshop on information, communication, and technologies for citizen media, community health, and civil society practitioners in Mekong sub-region.
Participants are welcome from EVERY countries and territories. About 60 participants will be selected from Mekong sub-region, another additional 5-10 will be selected from outside.
The camp is organized by Thai Fund Foundation and Opendream, in collaborations with partners.
Two main themes we are thinking about for this camp:
- Open mobile technologies for community communication, disease surveillance and disaster relief; and
- DIY information activism and citizen journalism.
