The UN ESCAP High Level Intergovernmental Meeting is for the final review of the "2nd Asian and Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons (2003-2012)" and to declare the "New Decade" (Incheon Strategy). The Meeting will consider for adoption the draft ministerial declaration on the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities, 2013-2022, and the draft Incheon strategy to "make the right real" for persons with disabilities in Asia and the Pacific.
- Review of the implementation of the Biwako Millennium Framework for Action;
- Adoption of the Incheon Ministerial Declaration to Make the Right Real for Persons with Disabilties in Asia and the Pacific, including the Incheon Strategy.
