PDF Weekly Update, 23rd August 2013

Greetings from the Pacific Disability Forum!

We all need positive attitude in life.

PDF believes that positive attitude, positive thinking and optimism are the root cause of many encouraging life benefits.

People with positive attitude are optimists and are able to identify opportunities in difficult situations. This is a unique ability that enables one to fulfil their goals despite the challenges. PDF encourages persons with disabilities to generate positive attitudes so they can overcome the discrimination that surrounds them.

This takes time and practice. If your first thoughts about something is negative, PDF urges you to take the first step towards a positive attitude by simply recognizing your thoughts as negative and trying to create a more positive thought.

Thoughts are always under your control and can be changed!

This week, we take a look at a story on Georgina Sakimi in relation to positive attitude; Iliesa Delana winning the 2012 Fiji Sportsman of the Year Award; Killer smoke blows through Pacific Islands and an App that fights blindness.
