2013 Pacific Human Rights Awards
Who is eligible to enter?
Any Pacific Islander. Note: SPC staff are not eligible to enter.
Ways to tell your human rights story to us:
- Audio or visual form (short video or audio story)
- Art (song, drawing, craft, photos, dance, etc.)
- Written (essay, story, poetry, novel, short story)
Where must your story be from?
The events in your story must have taken place in an SPC country or territory.
Your stories should answer the following questions:
- Where and when did this activity happen?
- How or why did this activity happen?
- What human right is advanced as a result of the activity or intervention?
- How has this activity or intervention benefited the individual, community, island or country?
- Who are the beneficiaries? (approximate number if possible)
Criteria for awards
In judging you story, we will be looking at:
- the quality of your story in terms of how it shows outstanding human rights advancement
- the quality of the way you present your story
- the creativity of your presentation.

There are two ways you can submit your stories:
