The first session of the Committee on Statistics brought together 33 delegations from right across the Asia-Pacific region to discuss major statistical challenges and achievements for the region.

During her first visit to SIAP, the Executive Secretary met with staff and thanked them for their outstanding contribution towards statistical capacity-building in the region.
