Statistical Yearbook for Asia and the Pacific 2012
This 2012 edition of the Statistical Yearbook for Asia and the Pacific is the first in a new publication schedule. Starting with this online edition, the Yearbook will be available as a printed product every other year.
The main feature of this 2012 online edition is the presentation of selected statistical indicators from the Yearbook as country profiles (http://www.unescap.org/stat/data/syb2012/country-profiles/index.asp). The country profiles present data series with thelatest available values and numerous statistical charts showing trends over the last 20 years, and where possible comparison with regional and world averages.
The statistical database from which the Yearbook is published is also made available online. The online database /(http://www.unescap.org/stat/data/statdb/DataExplorer.aspx) contains complete time series and country profiles, which are being updated twice a year (at the end of March and October, respectively).
