Network of South Asian Women with Disabilities (NSAWWD)
Network of South Asian Women with Disabilities is a regional initiative of Association for Women with Disabilities (AWWD, India), Association of Women with Disabilities (AKASA, Sri Lanka), Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV, Bangladesh), and Healthlink Worldwide (UK based). The objective behind this website is to provide a platform to the women with disabilities (WWDs) of South Asian region, where they can share their experiences, thoughts and views, discuss their issues and suggest potential solutions. Such network is the first of its kind in this region and aims to reach out to as many WWDs as possible to help them voice for
their rights.
