Transit Access Training Toolkit
Transit Access Training Toolkit includes pocket-size guides, model posters, public service announcements, and other resources to assist in training bus drivers and other public transport personnel, thanks to an initiative of the Disability and Development Team within the Human Resources Network of the World Bank, using funds provided by the governments of Norway and Finland. The document is also available in Spanish and Portuguese, and in printed and CD versions. The CD version includes the posters in various formats to assist in their use where desired. Posters for use in countries that drive on the left side of the road are also attached.
We encourage the use of this Toolkit in order to improve transport for persons with disabilities, older persons, and other beneficiaries of the universal design and the safe and courteous operation of public transport.
Questions concerning the use of the Toolkit are of course very welcome.
