Asia Pacific Disability Forum(APDF) General Assembly and Conference 2012: Action to Make the Right Real

APDF Conference 2012 will be held in conjunction with the High-level Intergovernmental Meeting (HLM) of UN ESCAP on the final review of the implementation of the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons, 2003-2012. APDF Conference 2012 will provide you an opportunity to share the achievement made during the 2ndDecade and remaining challenges, from which we will further discuss ways to implement a new Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities(2012-2022).
- Review and discuss ways to overcome challenges facing persons with disabilities in the Asia Pacific;
- Drafts strategies to implement the UN CRPD within the New Decade;
- Drafts the Incheon Human Rights Declaration as a statement of DPIAP towards the Dew Decade./li]
