Participation of civil society organizations

General Assembly resolution 66/124 (http://www.un.org/disabilities/documents/gadocs/a_res_66_124_en.doc) invites the President of the General Assembly to draw up a list of representatives of non-governmental organizations in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council who will participate in the HLMD (paragraph 6), as well as a list of representatives of other non-governmental organizations, organizations of persons with disabilities, relevant civil society organizations and the private sector who may participate in the high-level meeting (paragraph 7).

Pre-registration for NGOs in Consultative Status with ECOSOC (http://esango.un.org/irene/?page=viewContent&nr=682&type=22&section=15) (DEADLINE: 1 July 2013)

All other NGOs, DPOs, CSOs, academic institutions, private sector (DEADLINE: 1 July 2013)

Please note that your organization profile will be APPROVED AUTOMATICALLY and you will receive an email with your assigned Username and Password.

Step 2: Complete the pre-registration questionnaire (http://esango.un.org/irene/?page=login&next=viewSurveyANDnr=682ANDsection=10)

Following the submission of the questionnaire, you will receive a reference number. Please keep this number as a reference for any future communication.

In accordance with General Assembly resolution 66/124, the list will be submitted to Member States for consideration on a no objection basis after 1 July 2013. After this review process is completed, NGOs will be informed accordingly (date TBC).
