Basic Course on Human Security, Bangkok, 1-6 June 2009

The Human Security Alliance (HSA) and the Office of Human Rights and Social Development (OHRSD), Mahidol University, Thailand invites applicants to attend the 2nd BASIC COURSE ON HUMAN SECURITY to be held in BANGKOK from JUNE 01-06, 2009.

HSA is a non profit organisation composed of national networks and allies worldwide to address and develop the human-centric perspective of security encompassing rights and development in order to promote participation and enforcement through comprehensive policy engagement.

The course aims to involve 15 individuals, some of whom will be able to receive scholarships.

Besides the attachments, information, programme and application forms can be found at: www.hsa-int.net In addition to in-house presentations, experts of the region will also be invited to give keynote speeches, sharing their insights on challenges and issues facing contemporary human security studies and policy impacts.
