1st Wheel Chair Race competition held at Nawabshah.
Nawabshah Disability Forum (NDF) organized a wheel chair race under coordination with District Government Shaheed Benazir Abad on 14th August to mark the Independence Day. District Nazim Abdul Haque Jamali, DCO Khursheed Naeem Malik, PPP Taluka President Zia ul Hasson Lanjar, DPO Rukhsar Ahmed Khauwar, all EDOs and Government officials and hundreds of peoples of city Nawabshah witnessed the occasion. The purpose of organizing the race was to provide equal participation to disabled community in all healthy activities of Jashan-e-Azadi. Ten participants took part in the competition. The race was started from DCO secretariat and ended at Press Club. Mr. Irfan Ali Keerio took 1st; Mr. Riaz Durani 2nd and Mr. Waseem Ahmed Solangi took 3rd position in the 1st wheel chair race competition 2009. All the participants of race were very appreciated by the audience. All the winners were awarded with special trophies in a ceremony by District Nazim, DCO and other officials of District government Shaheed Benazir Abad.
