Save the Date: Peopleโs General Assembly on Development Justice
We cordially invite you to the Peopleโs General Assembly on Development Justice. The event will be organised on Saturday, 21 September 2013 from 11:00-ยญ15:00 in the occasion of the President of the United Nations General Assemblyโs Special Event towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals.
The Peopleโs General Assembly will provide the peopleโs perspective on current development models and the model of development that people demand of their governments. Speakers from the grassroots organizations and social movements from all the continents will speak of their experiences of development policies and present challenges for government leaders and officials to address the most pressing issues affecting the wellbeing of the people and the environment. Your participation as will be integral in sharing peopleโs visions and demands for development justice that will transform the lives of the most marginalized and render justice.
