Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is to the upper house

In the plenary session of the 19th, the House of Representatives passed unanimously the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities approved proposal to prohibit discrimination against people with disabilities. It is expected to be approved during the current Diet session after the deliberations in the House of Councillors. The Convention has urged parties to ensure the equal rights and a healthy person with disabilities, to take the necessary measures to promote social participation. November, has already concluded the European Union (EU) and 137 countries according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
