Report of DET at ESCAP
The United Nations Inter-Agency Support Group for the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (IASG) established to support the implementation of The UN Convention ( kindly see next 2 slides), regarding to this, DPI/AP along with Social Development Division (SDD),UNESCAP set up inter working on the implementation of CRPD in ESCAP body. There are 2 majors components as follows:
- Attitude and Awareness by Disability Equality Training (DET)
- Improvement physically barriers by Accessibility audit.
