Capacity Development of Self-help Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (CDSHOD) Seminar Report in Kyrgyzstan
The seminar was organized from 6 - 10 October 2008. The outcomes of the seminar were:
- Bishkek Statement on Rights-based Approach to Disability in Central Asia ,
- Informal Central Asia Networking is developed by utilizing resource room provided by JICA and Ministry of Labor and Social development,
- Unified of Association of PWDs is strengthened.
- Networking and collaboration among Govs, UN Agencies, APCD, JICA, Intโ agency, SHOs and DPI is strengthened,
- Disability Equality Training (DET) is implemented and expanded in Central Asia.
