This year, DPI AP already launched a project "Mainstreaming Disability Perspective in ASEAN Community" which aims to contribute to the creation of the ASEAN Community where all ASEAN citizens with disabilities, regardless of types and severity of disability, can enjoy the community living on an equal basis with others, being provided with appropriate support. This project can be successful only through the effective joint effort of multi-stakeholders. In this regard, this event will provide an important opportunity to promote the mainstreaming of disability perspectives in ASEAN Community.
