The Training Program on Mainstreaming of Persons with Disabilities for African Countries - Independent Living Program, 15-21 June 2013

The training of Mainstreaming of Persons with Disabilities for African Countries-Independent Living Program for 2013 was held from 21 May-15 June 2013 in Japan and 15-21 June 2013 in Thailand. The training was organized by Japan National Assembly of Disabled People's International (DPI-Japan) and followed by Disabled People's International Asia-Pacific (DPI/AP) and supported by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Overall Goal of the training

Through collaboration between DPO(Disabled Peopleโ€™s Organization)s and governments of each country and international network, Mainstreaming of disability issue in social development plan will be promoted, and DPOs will be involved in implementation process of UNCRPD.
