European Union activities on e-accessibility
The Council of the European Union yesterday released a statement on e-accessibility.

If you want to know what the EU are saying/doing about e-accessibility, this is a good place to start because it basically summarises a lot of the e-accessibility policies that have been developed in recent years within various other communications and initiatives. It cites them all so you can go and look at them if you want more detail. The main ones are the EC Communication of Dec 2008, the Riga Declaration of 2006, the i2010 initiative and the UN Convention.
