Report volunteer program "worldwarts" 2011/2012
Ms. Tina Schaarschmidt, germany volunteer program between Behinderung und Entwicklungszusammenarbeit e.V./Disability and Development Cooperation (bezev) under The Federal Ministry (BMZ) The Ministry of German (bezev) Disabled Peoples' International Asia Pacific (DPI/AP) to work as a volunteer under the worldwarts program from August 2011 until August 2012 at the DPI/AP office in Bangkok, Thailand.
This is report from Ms. Tina during the volunteer term at DPIAP, at the begining, she start to learn about the background of DPI, mission and vision, the movement of disability issue in national level and regional level. After the learing, she took care of the information support to collect and gathering the infomation about ASEAN, human rights and disability, also, create the weekly Newsletter and circulate the DPIAP newsletter to the networking. Finally, she take responsibilities on the ABILIS project called "Capacity building for DPOs in the Mekong region to increase organizational effectiveness and achieve sustainability"
